Job description

It’s not just a job — together, we’re on a mission. We're committed to accelerating the energy transition, with the goal of empowering 2 million sustainable energy installations by 2035. But we cannot achieve this goal alone. We are looking for talents to strengthen our team, and work with others on what really matters.

The team you will join

At iChoosr, you will join a team of 140 goal getters with a proactive approach, strong sense of ownership and strong interpersonal skills. Your colleagues work across the US, the Netherlands, Belgium, the UK, Poland and Japan.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Partnership Manager with a focus on acquiring, managing and optimising commercial partnerships in a delivery focussed environment. Experience of the solar market or other renewable technologies in the UK is preferred.

Your responsibilities

As Partnership Manager for the UK business lines you will be responsible for engaging with installers as we launch in new and repeat regions, then managing the (relationship with) installation companies, coaching them in the scheme processes and ultimately for working with the installers to deliver optimal installation results from each scheme. You have a dual role with installers; not only monitoring their progress and ensuring they meet contractual requirements, but also building a robust and open relationship in which you provide feedback and discuss opportunities to optimise the customer journey (processes) in order to achieve efficiencies; improve customer satisfaction and higher conversion rates (reduce cancellations). The role includes management of some third party relationships such as trainers and technical inspectors.

  • You identify opportunities for improvement in processes and the customer journey and present these opportunities in feedback to the installers;

  • You manage the installers on the objectives of the schemes in terms of communication, progress, quality and administration;

  • You actively involve the most important stakeholders in the course of the projects and can deliver constructive feedback to all stakeholders;

  • You advocate best practice and advise on possible improvements in the operational processes internally and at installers, and you contribute to its implementation;

  • You share best practice with the wider Installer Management team;

  • You travel around the UK to spend time on location at installers’ offices;

You will also seek to build relationships with other Installer Managers working on our projects in other countries (Netherlands, Belgium, US and Japan) in order to share learnings and best practice.

Your expertise

  • As a graduate, you will have at least 5 years work experience in a commercial partnership and/or operational management role;

  • You have experience in the renewable energy sector, ideally with solar panels or heat pumps;

  • You have a sharp, strategic mind and are always looking for opportunities to improve and optimise;
